Perforating - Services

Perforating is the creation of communication tunnels from the casing or liner into the reservoir formation, through which oil or gas is produced. The use of jet perforating guns equipped with shaped explosive charges is the most common way to perforate. Other methods include bullet perforating, abrasive jetting or high pressure fluid jetting.
